Rugged and compact design

Featuring an IP66 and IP68 protection rating along with protective lenses, these vision systems are a rugged, space-saving and easy-to-service asset inside the machine envelope.

Covering three tasks in one system

The VT 122 camera system automatically creates images for efficient tool inspection, acting as a tool presetter, tool microscope and visual tool inspector all in one system.

Touchless in-process measurement

Through non-contact measurement of a tool's length, radius and corner radius, the VT 122 is great for sensitive edges. End mills, ball-nose cutters and drill bits at least 1 mm in diameter are supported. In-process inspection can be performed on preset tools. 

Panoramic or close-up images

The camera can take close-up images of each tooth, or detailed panoramic images of the entire tool circumference. The lighting angle can be adjusted for optimal illumination of individual teeth. Tools can also be imaged from below.
